  • What is Synergy SKY CONNECT?

     Synergy SKY CONNECT is an enterprise video interoperability gateway that enables SIP-based video conferencing devices to join meetings across Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, Google Meet, and FaceTime. It helps organizations keep using existing meeting rooms while giving users a consistent way to join meetings across platforms. 

  • How easy is it to integrate Synergy SKY with existing video conferencing hardware and software?

    Synergy SKY is designed to be integrated with all major vendors and is the only independent vendor on the market. Normal set-up time to get up and running depends on the size and complexity of your video set-up. But to get a viable POC or small installation up and running should not take more than a few hours. 

  • Are there specific requirements or limitations for using Synergy SKY products?

  • Which meeting platforms are supported?

    CONNECT supports major meeting platforms including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Webex, and Apple FaceTime. It is designed for mixed-platform environments where employees, customers, partners, or agencies may send meeting invites from different services. 

  • Which video devices work with CONNECT?

    CONNECT is built for SIP-capable video devices, including Cisco and Poly / Polycom video conferencing systems and Zoom Rooms. It supports both current and legacy meeting room devices, helping extend the life of existing video investments 

  • How do users join meetings?

    Users can join meetings in three simple ways: Click to Join from the room calendar, Join by ID, or Scan to Join using a QR code. This gives organizations flexibility while keeping the meeting room experience simple. 

  • Does CONNECT require user training?

    In most environments, no major user training is required. CONNECT is designed to preserve familiar meeting room workflows and reduce the complexity of joining meetings across different platforms. 

  • Can CONNECT join meetings outside our organization?

    Yes. CONNECT is designed for real-world meeting scenarios where the organizer may be outside your tenant, company, or cloud environment. This is especially useful for organizations that meet frequently with customers, vendors, partners, government agencies, or external stakeholders. 

  • How is CONNECT different from CVI?

    CVI typically refers to interoperability for Microsoft Teams meetings. CONNECT is broader. It enables SIP video rooms to join meetings across multiple platforms, including Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Webex, and FaceTime.

  • Can CONNECT work with Outlook and Google Calendar?

    Yes. CONNECT supports calendar-based workflows including Microsoft Outlook, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and Google Calendar. 

  • How is CONNECT licensed?

    CONNECT is designed around a simple meeting-room licensing model. For detailed pricing, customers can contact Synergy SKY or work through an authorized partner.

  • Which Support Packages does Synergy SKY offer?

    Synergy SKY offers the following two Support Packages for Level One Support.   

     

    Level 1 Product Support Synergy CONNECT (24/7/365) offers the industry's most accessible and comprehensive support service, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Customers receive priority service on opened tickets nights and weekends. 

     

    Level 1 Product Support Synergy CONNECT offers business hours (in local time) access to product experts waiting to assist you. 

  • Where can I find product documentation?

    You can find comprehensive product documentation for the Synergy SKY product suite on our support portal:

  • Who in my organization can submit support tickets?

    Predefined personnel within your organization can register a user and submit a support ticket through the support portal. Customer Contact points will require an email address with your organization’s domain. Upon registration, they will automatically be associated with your organization in our support system. 

  • How can I submit a support ticket?

    Go to How to Open a Support Ticket  to submit a support ticket. This page will go over what information and files you will need to include with your support ticket. You will also have the opportunity to view our Knowledge Base before you submit the support ticket.

  • Software upgrades and license requests

    With a support program your organization is eligible for software upgrades.  Information about new software releases is sent to registered administrators when releases become available, and updates are also available for System Administrators in the Configuration Portal.  You may also find software release notes and other details at the following site:
