Best Practice CUCM and VCS-C/E for CONNECT 

Introduction

This document outlines best practice configuration for CUCM to VCS-C to VCS-E for CONNECT optimal operation.  

 

Prerequisites

 

CUCM (12.5)

An example is using 5061 TLS encrypted trunks, this is recommended but a 5060 TCP can also be used.

Confirm a DNS rule is set up and not using Webex PSTN paths, dedicate is OK as below.

Pattern string can also be replaced with @*.joingw.com to allow multiple regions of CONNECT (EU/US).
