Synergy SKY Video Conferencing management platform for reporting, monitoring, and scheduling to become available to the enterprise market with new enhanced features, competitive pricing structure, and new partner model.
“What gets measured gets managed”
Video Collaboration is growing both in usage and in the number of vendors. The challenge that most organizations face today is to know what technology is being used where, when, and by whom.
Monitoring and reporting on usage and trends allow organizations to notice deviations that otherwise could have been missed.
With Synergy SKY Enterprise Edition organizations are now able to measure the utilization of on-premises infrastructure. Reports showing usage over time per region and collaboration type will help justify the collaboration budget. Real-time monitoring and alerts will reduce maintenance costs and increase user success rates.
The new platform for enterprise customers has been built on the existing Synergy SKY Service Provider Edition and will include select and enhanced features and functions from that well-established product.
“With a focus on security and data privacy, the Enterprise Edition has been developed as a true hybrid cloud solution, where all vital data is securely stored on customers’ premises,” says Egil Hasting, CTO at Synergy SKY.
The Synergy SKY Enterprise Edition is designed for companies of all sizes that have invested in infrastructure for video conferencing. The debut version will contain reporting functionality for Pexip and Acano (now part of Cisco), while more features and supported vendors will be added shortly.
“Our goal with this platform,” comments Ståle Reitan, CEO of Synergy SKY, “is to deliver a service that gives direct value to enterprises that are using Video Conferencing and Unified Communications. The platform is delivered as a cloud service to give quick access to new functionality and great features at a low cost, without requiring the end customers to give away their valuable and sensitive usage data. We will continue to focus on operating in a multi-vendor environment and supporting the vendors that are important to customers out there.”
